Where to Chill: Azul Surf is the Perfect Place To Go

Okay, I am not really good when it comes to featuring restaurants, cafes, or any food shop. In fact, I have never written any food blog post before. I know I suck at trying to be a food blogger because I am not a fan of fancy restaurants and expensive menus. Food Blogging? NO. NEVER GONNA HAPPEN.

Well, except today.

BECAUSE THIS ONE STANDS OUT. That’s for sure. At least for me.

I LOVE to chill at some place with good food, cool music, and a creative ambiance.

And that makes Azul Surf a perfect place for me.

Azul Surf Offers Great Food + Cool Music + Creative Ambiance

Azul Surf  is owned by local drummer, Ian Sekong (“Yanix”), from one of Cebu’s pride local bands, Powerspoonz.

Ian admitted that he’s a frustrated surfer and that blue is his favorite color, thus the name Azul Surf.
I think he is not just a smart entrepreneur and a talented drummer, but also a very creative guy when he personally designed and crafted the place’s artistic theme. Plus, he personally created the menu and is very hands-on to his cafes, including Azul Cebu, Greek Adeek (Burgers), and Sushihan Ni (Sushis) in Gorordo Avenue.

Let’s check out Azul Surf!

Great Food. Azul Surf is more than “Tuslob Buwa”

Clever. But TRUE! 😛

Every food served was great! I especially enjoyed the Surf & Turf, Pizza, California Maki, and Samgyeopsal. And oh, Sisig and Singsing were best paired with cold beer. 🙂

Cool Music

The first night we went there, it was Tribal Saturday with Percs Republic. This little girl is just the coolest! 🙂 (Will update this post once the full video clip is uploaded on my YouTube channel.)

UPDATE: Check out Percs Republic below (first video clip, will post another soon)

The second time I visited, it was Reggae Thursday with Ragga Marv, from Boracay Island. Cool guy! 😉

I’m sure this isn’t the last time I will visit the place. Azul Surf is the perfect place to go when you want to chill, as it offers good food, cool music, and a creative Island vibe.
Drop by at Azul Surf in Mango Ave. Visit their Facebook Page at Azul Surf and Azul Cebu.
Ciao! 😉
