Big thanks to my Japanese student for sharing this video with me today. It is indeed inspiring, very positive, and absolutely an awesome talk. I kinda feel guilty for taking the little awesome things for granted. It’s a pretty sad reality that many of us now are always looking forward to the big things alone, greatly missing out the wonderful little moments that pass us by. We’ve wasted significant times not recognizing the beautiful little things. For once, let’s live in the present and appreciate this awesome life and world around us.
So be honest. When was the last time you embraced the sun shining? When was the last time you intently listened to the raindrops pouring? When was the last time you watched the birds flying? When was the last time you gave a tight hug to your family or friends for no special reason? When was the last time you stole a kiss from your kids or partner? When was the last time you paused and smiled and thanked for your awesome life?
AND when was the last time you put down your smartphone and connected to the real world around you? Well for me, after I apologized to my smartphone, I did put it down for a few days and stopped checking unnecessary things. 😉
Okay, here’s a quick exercise for us all.. from now on, why don’t we try to set aside even just a little time to freeze our seemingly busy life? Let’s stop for a moment to see the awesome world around us. Let’s be aware of our surroundings and appreciate the smallest things.
Now, I want you to join me in making it a habit to spare few minutes to be grateful of our awesome journey. Maybe we can even post a similar list of little awesome good things going on in our lives. Can I count on you? Share your thoughts in the comment below.
Life is just so goood, my friends, let’s push it to be more awesome! 🙂
Cheers to a more awesome goood life,
